The Symbiosis International Student Football Tournament (SISFT) played perfect hosts to Pune Football Club’s, senior team, mid-fielders Arata Izumi and Ryuji Seoka who were the guests of honour for the closing ceremony of the tournament.
The event, held at the Symbiosis International University campus in Lavale, Sus Gaon, saw a sizeable participation from the students in the form of both players as well as, audience members.
The ceremony, which was held on January 11, saw the two Pune FC players interact with the audience members as well as indulge in clicking selfies with the fans. They also clicked group pictures with the members of the participating teams.
Also present for the occasion were: Amay Yervadekar, Executive-Sports, Recreation and Wellness Symbiosis International University, and TP Singh, Director of Symbiosis Institute of Technology.
Chief guests, Arata and Sueoka were felicitated by the organisers at Symbiosis for gracing the closing ceremony of the tournament with a bouquet and a souvenir. As a token of their appreciation, the two mid-fielders presented Amay Yervadekar and TP Singh with Pune FC jerseys.
