PDFA Super-6: Pune FC ‘A’ wins crucial game against Deccan XI
Pune FC ‘A’ upped their ante in a must-win game against defending champions Amanora Deccan XI FC ‘A’ and walked tall with a solitary goal verdict (1-0) in the Poona District Football Association (PDFA) Super Division Super-6 League.
As a result, Pune FC ‘A’ made a two-place leap in the league standings to occupy second place with 7 points.
Pune FC ‘A’, now, needs to win their last Super-6 match against Thundercatz with a 4-goal margin and also hope for Sangam Y.B to defeat BEG, Khadki to stand a chance to top.
For Pune FC ‘A’ midfielder Nikhil Kadam (42nd minute) scored a peach of a goal to settle the issue at the Range Hills ground.
With both teams needing maximum points to push up the standings Pune FC ‘A’ began proceedings holding the edge. An early free-kick, within the opening minute, on the on the left testified the urgency Pune FC ‘A’ went into the match with.

Towards the end, ’keeper Molla was again in the thick of action keeping out a header from 8 yards out with brilliant reflex action save to his left.
