I-League 2012-13

> Round 24 – Prayag United vs. Pailan Arrows

Friday, April 12

Handed 12th start and played his 7th full game as Arrows lost 1-4.

> Round 23 – Dempo SC Pailan Arrows

Saturday, April 6

Was part of Arrows historic 2-0 victory over the defending champions at Tilak Maidan; handed 11th start and played his 6th full game. Was Arrows 2nd win on Goan soil

> Round 22 – Mumbai FC vs. Pailan Arrows

Friday, March 29

Returned to his ‘home’ ground – Balewadi Sports Complex- for his 10th start. It was his 5th full game, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

> Round 21 – Pailan Arrows vs. Mohun Bagan AC

Sunday, March 24

Handed his 9th I-League start and played out his 4th full game. The previous was in Round 14 (v ONGC). The game however ended in a 2-3 loss at Kalyani Stadium.

> Round 20 – Pailan Arrows vs. Sporting Clube de Goa

Sunday, February 10

Was a second half substitute, replaced Milan Singh and played 22 minutes. Arrows lost 0-2 at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan.

> Round 19 – Pailan Arrows vs. East Bengal FC

Saturday, February 2

The midfielder was handed is 8th I-League start and played 77 minutes, before Sumeet Passi was brought on. Arrows lost the game (1-2) at Kalyani Stadium. The result In Leg-1 he was not fielded

> Round 18 – Pailan Arrows vs. United Sikkim FC

Monday,  January 28

The midfielder was not fielded in the playing XI.  The game was a first at the Kalyani Stadium.

> Round 17 – Pailan Arrows vs. Shillong Lajong FC

Sunday,  January 20

Handed 7th I-League start and played 68 minutes, before making way for Milan Singh Ongnam. Arrows emerged victors and logged their 5th win.

> Round 16 – Air India vs. Pailan Arrows

Saturday,  January 12

Came on as a second half substitute for Rajinder Kumar on his ‘home pitch’ at Balewadi Sports Complex.

> Round 15 – Churchill Brothers vs. Pailan Arrows

Wednesday,  January 9

Handed 6th I-League start and played 42 minutes, before being substituted for Prabir Das in Arrows’ 1-3 loss to Churchill Bros.

> Round 14 – ONGC vs. Pailan Arrows

Sunday,  January 5

The midfielder figured in his 5th I-League start. He played out his 3rd full (90-minute) game. Incidentally, Ganeshan’s previous ‘full’ game was against same opposition.

> Round 13 – East Bengal vs. Pailan Arrows

Sunday, December 30

The midfielder was not fielded in the playing XI.  The game was a first at the Kalyani Stadium.

Handed 4th  I-League start for Arrows and played 59 minutes in the game before being substituted for Pronay Halder in Arrows’ 0-3 loss to Churchill Bros.

Saturday, December 1

Handed 3rd  I-League start for Arrows and played his second consecutive 90 minutes game – the first at home (Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata). So far, Ganesan has made 6 starts for Arrows (Federation Cup: 2, Durand Cup 1).

> Round 8 – Shillong Lajong FC 3-1 Pailan Arrows

Wednesday, November 28

Was fielded in first XI and played full 90 minutes of the game for the first time in the season at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Shillong, Meghalaya).

Came on as a substitute for striker Holicharan Narzary in the 68th minute in Arrows’ solitary goal win over their opponents Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Margao.

Came on as a substitute in 73rd minute in Arrows’ 1-2 loss against Prayag United at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata.

Was named in the first XI and was subsequently substituted for Arrows’ first away game in the 86th minute (replaced by Prathamesh Maulingkar) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Margao.

Came on as a substitute for Holicharan Narzary in the 71st minute in Arrows’ game against Air-India FC at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata.

Pailan Arrows 2-2 Mumbai FC

Friday, September 21

Dhanpal Ganesan scored debut goal in Arrows colors. The midfielder started Arrows’ game against Mumbai FC in Group-A at JRD Sports Complex, Jamshedpur. Scored the first equalizer (45th minute).


Durand Cup

Pailan Arrows 1-1 Air-India

Tuesday, August 28

Dhanpal Ganesan made his Arrows’ debut by starting against Air-India in Durand Cup at Ambedkar Stadium New Delhi.
