Pune FC Under-15s overcame Mahindra United World College, Mulshi 6-2 in a friendly encounter at the Club’s Training Pitches in Mamurdi on Saturday.
In an entertaining 40-min per half encounter, Pune FC took a four goal lead through strikes from Siddhant Punjabi (9th & 35th minute) and Gulam Ansari (17th & 25th) in the first half.
The second half saw both sides fight hard as the game turned into a physical battle. While the opponents managed to net twice on a couple of counter attacks, Pune FC too struck twice through Siddhant Punjabi (42nd), who completed his hattrick, and Ameya Talegaonkar (65th) to seal a 6-2 win.
