Stars from the upcoming Marathi Feature Film ‘Kaakan’ will be present at the historic first-ever Pune Derby between Pune FC and Bharat FC at the Balewadi Sports Complex on Saturday.
As special guests of Pune Football Club, the Kaakan starcast will give an additional reason for fans to attend the biggest football game in the city’s history and support Pune’s first professional football club.
Leading the Kaakan cast on the Derby-Day will be Director Kranti Redkar along with the lead duo of Urmila Adinath Kothare and Jitendra Joshi. Joining them will be child artists Aakash Banerjee and Ashutosh Gaikwad along with Producer Hridaya Banerjee.
The Kaakan team will also interact personally with the fans as well as the media at the stadium apart from distributing Music DVDs in the crowd.
Kaakan, which is scheduled to hit theatres on April 10th, revolves around a periodic love story set in the 1970’s and is the directorial debut of actress Kranti Redkar.
