Pune Football Club and Kothrud Premier League have joined hands for a unique long term association.
The city’s first professional football club will be teaming up with the Kothrud-based weekend league, with an aim to reach out to even more football lovers across the city.
Speaking about the strategic partnership, Sarthak Mane – the brain behind the league – said, “We are very proud to be associated with Pune FC. It’s the biggest football club in Pune and has put the city on India’s footballing map. Associating with them only adds value to the Kothrud Premier League.”
Also known as the KPL, the League boasts 40 teams across various divisions and is played on a half-yearly basis on Saturdays and Sundays.
