Pune FC take on Shillong Lajong in the penultimate game of the season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking at the pre-match Press Conference, Pune FC Asst. Coach Gift Raikhan was positive and discussed various matters.
Giving his views on the game, Coach Raikhan said, “It will be an interesting game tomorrow. Lajong is a strong side and playing at home is an advantage for them. The win against East Bengal gives us a lot of confidence. But we need to stay calm and approach the game in a positive manner and we cannot take anything for granted. We have to work hard to get those three points tomorrow.”
Speaking about Pune FC’s season so far he added, “We had a good start to the season, but yes we did struggle for a few games where in we fell off the pace. However, we are confident now. We are motivated to perform better and want to finish as high as possible.”
Giving an update on the team, he concluded, “We did have few minor niggles, but the team is fully fit and all players are available for selection tomorrow.”
