Pune FC Women’s ‘A’ went down fighting 0-1 to Diego Juniors FC Academy in a Round-2 encounter of the PDFA League Women’s Division at the Dobarwadi Ground in Ghorpadi on Sunday
After having scored nine goals in their first game against SKF Academy, Pune FC ‘A’ were riding high on confidence for their second league encounter against Diego JFCA who too came in after a 8-0 win in their opener.
However, while both sides battled hard throughout the game, the girls from Pune FC ‘A’ were left heartbroken after Shrusti Iyer struck the winner for the opponents in the 35th minute.
