Pune FC ‘A’ romped to a massive 14-0 Mischief Makers in their penultimate game of the PDFA Super Division League at the DSK Football Field in Loni on Sunday.
The big win in the Round-14 encounter was powered by Farukh Choudhary (3rd, 6th, 7th, 9th, 15th, 56th & 67th minute) who netted seven times and became the first player to hit the 25-goals mark in the league.
Meanwhile, striker Arif Shaikh (22nd, 35th, 42nd) also netted a hattrick while braces from Sannik Murmu (2nd, 11th) and Balkar Singh (14th, 39th) rounded off the scoring.
The win was Pune FC A’s tenth of the campaign and took their tally to 32 points from 14 games (10W-2D-2L) as they moved to third place in the standings behind Deccan Rovers (34 pts).
