Sujay Sharma joined Pune FC at the start of the 2009 to form the First Team Staff in the clubs first season in top-flight football.

Having studied physics he transferred his passion to understand his favourite sport football. Subsequently, he completed Match Analysis courses by The FA and coaching courses by the Premier League before joining Mahindra United for three seasons (2005-2008). He had started out at the Mumbai club at the age of 21.

Following his stint in Mumbai, he took an opportunity to work with the Indian partners of ProZone (the world’s leading Match Analysis Software providers) for a year.

Sujay, thereafter, joined Pune FC to lend his expertise. Pune FC, Subsequently, became the first club in South Asia to tie-up with ProZone and use the software used regularly by the best clubs in the world of football.

His job involves running through the data; analyse matches and videos; prepare objective reports and requisite clips, to measures our own team’s performance. Similarly, help assess and dissect opponents teams and players, both for scouting and recruitment purposes – as per requirements of the coach and management.

Sujay is also a part of the Peninsula Pune FC Academy Coaching Staff and specifically overlooks the Under-15 age-group.
